Five years after their high school breakup, Alex and Kaia decide to meet up. Having made a film about their relationship, Alex fantasizes that Kaia adores the film. But the film is a rip-off of classic romance films and is a flop and an embarrassment to Kaia.
SET DRESSING - Classroom to Bar

Location
Due to COVID-19 restrictions as well as a limited budget, an actual bar was quite impossible to permit for this production. Thus, we chose to use a classroom on the main campus of Chapman University (Smith Hall) to dress as a bar.

Process
To transform the space into a bar, I used black curtains to cover the windows and utilized big prop pieces such as bars, stools, and cabinets.

Final Set
The final look was achieved by practical lighting and extensive set dressing.
